Description:

 

  • Conduct regular and comprehensive audits of the Venture Global CP2 LNG project throughout its life cycle, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review both on-field and off-field activities to assess their adherence to project guidelines, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Examine and analyze client billing processes, tracking, and monitoring systems to ensure accuracy and minimize potential losses.
  • Implement effective strategies and processes to manage and mitigate risks, enhancing project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform 8 to 9 audits annually on critical areas such as inventory management, health, and safety protocols, stages of the project lifecycle, policy compliance, local regulations, and project financial reporting etc.
  • Identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure audit findings are addressed and corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Develop audit programs and methodologies to ensure coverage of comprehensive project activities and processes.
  • Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of internal controls, ensuring that they are properly designed and functioning as intended.
  • Review contracts, agreements, and procurement processes to ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare accurate and concise audit reports, documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks related to the LNG sector to continuously improve audit processes and enhance knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to coordinate audit activities, share best practices, and ensure consistency in the audit approach.
  • Support internal and external audit activities as required, providing necessary documentation and assistance during the audit process.
  • Actively participate in professional development activities, including training sessions, workshops, and conferences, to enhance auditing skills and knowledge.
  • Location – Houston (Worley Rogerdale)
  • Work from the office only – 4 – 10 /5- 8 - days’ work schedule weekly.
  • Open to travel 10% to 15 %
