What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements: 

  • QA/QC experience in the manufacture of Boiler and Pressure Vessels and/or Piping and/or Pressure Components field or graduate in Welding Technology, NDE or related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of the regulatory codes as they pertain to pressure boundary parts/equipment inspection requirements including but not limited to the following: ASME Section   V, II, IX, VIII /  III, Div 1, B31.3.and B31.1
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Computer documentation and communication experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to work in a team environment.
  • Attention to details and high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under tight time line requirements.
  • A professional attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Available to work flexible hours and overtime as required to meet business needs.
  • Individuals with experience and course background will be considered. 

 

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

  • Work experience to achieve NDE certification to CGSB standards and/or SNT-1A  in one or more of the following PT, MT, UT, PMI.
  • Work experience to achieve Welding Inspection certification to CWB and or AWS standards.
