Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Intern to join our engineering team, focusing on projects within the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical engineering knowledge, project management experience, and digital skills to assist in planning, executing, and delivering innovative solutions. This is a hands-on internship designed to provide real-world exposure to cutting-edge digital transformation projects in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering projects in the oil and gas sector.
  • Assist in developing digital tools and systems to optimize workflows and processes.
  • Contribute to project planning, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Support data collection, analysis, and reporting to identify insights and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in the documentation of technical and project management activities.
  • Learn and apply project management methodologies to drive efficiency in engineering projects.
  • Provide technical support for the implementation of digital solutions across the department.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.

What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements: 

  • Strong interest in the oil and gas industry and its digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience or coursework in project management principles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall methodologies).
  • Familiarity with digital tools, data analysis, and software used in engineering projects (e.g., CAD, GIS, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

 Required:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred:

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
