Qualifications / Skillset

Technical Expertise & Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of progressively responsible experience in piping design.
  • Strong understanding of engineering and drafting concepts, with a general awareness of other disciplines' roles in the design process.
  • Proficiency in PC-based design tools, including 2D CAD and 3D CAD software.
  • Experience in executing projects within existing facilities with complex obstructions and design constraints.
  • Knowledge of piping and layout design for power generation and industrial facilities (chemical facility experience is a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D, with a minimum of 2 years utilizing this platform.
  • Familiarity with Microstation V8i and AutoCAD for piping design applications.
  • Experience using 3D model review software, specifically AVEVA E3D (minimum of 3 years preferred).

Soft Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Commitment to customer service and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive project information.
  • Willingness to travel or accept field assignments as needed.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Education & Certifications:

  • Required: Two-year technical diploma with piping design-specific training.
  • Preferred: An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $36.40/hr. - $53.53/hr. (commensurate with experience).
  • Benefits Package Includes: Paid Time Off (PTO), 401(k) retirement plan, medical, vision, and dental coverage, among others.
