We are currently recruiting for an Intermediate Piping Designer with AVEVA E3D experience and related software.  Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters.  This is a full-time position based in Vancouver, BC.

Reporting to the Design Department Manager, you will assist with the delivery of design and drafting services to Worley Chemetics and its customers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Detailed routing and supporting of piping and large diameter process gas ducting using Aveva E3D
  • Modeling equipment and structural steel using Aveva E3D
  • Coordinating plant layout design with other engineering disciplines
  • Reviewing vendor documents and incorporating into the model
  • Traveling to international sites to meet with customers, collect site data and conduct plant check-outs.

What you will bring:

Technical and Industry Experience: 

  • A passion for plant layout design
  • Intermediate level experience in piping design
  • Proficiency in Aveva E3D and AutoCAD
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Must be available for international  travel to meet with customers

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

  • Graduate of a Process Piping Drafting/Design technical institution

For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range $80,000 to $105,000
