Instrumentation Engineer
What you’ll do
The role responsibilities include:
· To carry out design work under direction from the Lead Discipline Engineer
· To undertake all work within the estimated manhour budget and within schedule
· To maintain all files and documentation in an orderly fashion
· To undertake Engineering work on the project to the best of ones ability
· Supervision of design work, budget and schedule in project work where requested by the Lead Discipline Engineer
What you’ll have
· Bachelor of Engineering (Instrument & Control Engineering)
· Working knowledge of instrument & Control engineering as found in Oil & gas Industries.
· Basic knowledge of international codes and standards applicable to the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry i.e. IEC, API, ISA, ISO, ANSE, ASME etc.
· Basic understanding of control system architecture and development of control system specifications and design, including interfaces to packaged and electrical equipment. Experience in field wiring design
· Good understanding of field instrument sizing and selection
· Limited experience in advanced instrument technologies such as critical service control valves, process analysers, Foundation Fieldbus and other digital control networks
· Knowledgeable in hazardous area protection techniques
· Given the necessity of interacting with Thai-speaking clients, Thai language is essential.
