Instrumentation and Controls Designer
What you will bring:
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Experience with PLCs and DCS. Preferably Emerson DeltaV , Foxboro EcoStruxure or ABBxA DCS and Modicon , GE or Rockwell PLC.
- Experience with Fire Detection and Alarm system design is preferred.
- Experience with Access Control Systems is a plus.
- Experience with CCTV and HVAC systems is a plus.
- Experience with SPI to produce Instrument Index, Datasheets, wiring and loop is preferred and not a must.
- Experience with the AVEVA E3D and Navisworks.Drafting knowledge in an AutoCad and Microstation environment.
- Ability to interpret Petrochemical and M&M industry standard Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Good understanding of Canadian Electrical Code.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- Must have a College diploma with an intermediate level of experience in I&C Design in refineries, petrochemicals or Mining/Minerals/Metals plants.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
