HSE Supervisor - WAS

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor the HSE management system (HSEMS) on-site.

Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and standards.

Participate in and lead toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety meetings.

Support the development of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Permit to Work (PTW), and other site-specific HSE documents.

Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; recommend corrective/preventive actions.

Maintain records and documentation such as safety reports, inspection checklists, and audit findings.

Liaise with subcontractors and ensure alignment with the project’s HSE expectations.

Conduct induction and refresher HSE training for all site personnel.

Promote a positive safety culture and ensure workforce engagement in HSE programs.

Ensure compliance with environmental protection requirements and waste management procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.

NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification) is mandatory.

HSE experience in the construction sector within the oil and gas industry.

Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and best practices.

Demonstrated experience in PTW systems, hazard identification, and risk management.

Effective leadership, communication, and reporting skills.

Must be willing to work on a rotational/site-based schedule in remote locations.
