HSE Specialist (LOTO)

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain LOTO programs in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses related to energy isolation.
- Train employees and contractors on proper LOTO procedures and safety protocols.
- Audit and inspect LOTO practices across departments to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to identify equipment requiring LOTO procedures.
- Maintain documentation of all LOTO activities, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations related to energy control failures and recommend improvements.
- Support broader HSE initiatives, including emergency response planning and safety campaigns
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of LOTO regulations (e.g., OSHA 1910.147) and best practices.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Certification in HSE or LOTO procedures is a plus (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA 30).
