Qualifications / Skillset

• University degree or equivalent in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline; relevant industry certifications are advantageous.

• Proven professional experience in HSE roles within the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors, with strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental principles, practices, and regulations.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex tasks, prioritize effectively, and recommend solutions to emerging issues.

• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage teams, deliver clear guidance, and encourage ownership of HSE practices.

• Experience supporting project-based work, including small-scale assignments or contributing to large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.

• Competence in using HSE systems, processes, and tools, with the ability to troubleshoot and guide others in their effective application.

• Commitment to fostering a culture of safety, responsibility, and continuous improvement while aligning with Worley’s purpose of delivering a more sustainable world.

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to provide technical guidance and occasionally supervise or coordinate the activities of other team members.
