Qualifications / Skillset
University degree or equivalent in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline; relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
Proven professional experience in HSE roles within the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors, with strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental principles, practices, and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex tasks, prioritize effectively, and recommend solutions to emerging issues.
Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage teams, deliver clear guidance, and encourage ownership of HSE practices.
Experience supporting project-based work, including small-scale assignments or contributing to large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.
Competence in using HSE systems, processes, and tools, with the ability to troubleshoot and guide others in their effective application.
Commitment to fostering a culture of safety, responsibility, and continuous improvement while aligning with Worley’s purpose of delivering a more sustainable world.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to provide technical guidance and occasionally supervise or coordinate the activities of other team members.
