As a Manager, Project HSE, you will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in executing Worley’s ANZ HSE strategy to deliver industry leading professional services across Worley’s Australia East region. You will be an integral member of the broader HSE network, collaborating across the ANZ Region to support and be hands-on with a range of projects. This role will allow you to draw on your extensive HSE knowledge and experience to positively influence organisational, customer and project stakeholders to deliver sustained HSE outcomes.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a HSE Manager to join our Melbourne team on a short-term 4-month contract.

The role responsibilities include:

• Working directly with business leaders and Worley Enterprise Services supporting our Sales team during priority bids and proposals.
• Building strong relationships with Location Directors, Functional Directors, and Managers to drive our HSE Strategy.
• Ensuring statutory compliance and developing HSE deliverables, whilst prioritising continuous improvement opportunities.
• Influencing our teams spanning our ANZ portfolios and projects.
• Demonstrate and champion our Worley Values, Life Saving Rules and the underlying Worley systems, tools and processes that ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of our people.

What you’ll have

• Proven experience in a Senior HSE Advisory role within mining, hydrocarbons, renewables, or consulting sectors.
• Ability to engage proactively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong background in integrated management systems frameworks.
• Tertiary qualification in HSE or a related field (Degree/Advanced Diploma).
• Training in Return to Work/Injury Management.
• Qualifications in Training & Assessment.
• Lead Auditor Certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• ICAM or equivalent Lead Investigator in Root Cause Analysis.
• Construction White Card.
• Ability to travel as required to support the AUE/AUC business, including occasional travel to various parts of Australia or New Zealand where our projects may be located.
