Health & Safety Systems Manager
Job Specific Knowledge: 10+ years’ experience in leading H&S teams in complex, multifaceted, high-risk organisations, or projects
Industry Specific Experience: Mining, Construction and/or Engineering industry experience.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety and/or Risk Management, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline.
HSE Capability: Demonstrated understanding of Health and Safety Management System, Behavioural Safety Programs, Legislation and Contractual compliance.
IT Skills: Proficient in the MS Office suite, Extensive experience in using computerised H&S event management systems (i.e. Roam360, Isometrix, etc.) and document control/management software i.e. Aconnex
People Skills: Experienced at leading teams of H&S professionals, Ability to influence peers to deliver agreed outcomes, management of poor performance
Other: Experienced in engaging the “hearts and minds” of organisational/project leaders and front-line personnel to deliver safer outcomes.
