Graduate Technical Consultant, Power & New Energy
We have opportunities for graduate technical consultants to join us in our Power & New Energy Worley Consulting team based in The Hague, Netherlands.
As a technical consultant you will work as part of a multidiscipline team, providing strategic technical consulting services to the process and power industry and financial sectors.
Under the supervision and mentorship within our team, you will assist in the delivery of bespoke tailored services to suit our diverse set of clients, working to deliver services and participate in further business development.
As a graduate technical consultant you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, for example:
You’ll be:
o Mass energy balance calculations and optimization
o Definition of basis of design and technical specification
o High level definition of plant configuration
o Equipment specification and selection
Delivering consulting services, such as feasibility and conceptual studies, financial models
Supporting in the delivery of our marketing and business development activities for consulting services
Developing towards being a ‘Subject Matter Expert’ for energy conversion, energy optimization, CO2 capture, green hydrogen and power conversion technologies across Worley
Supporting in the overall growth of our consulting business
You are:
In your final year of study of a bachelor’s or master’s level degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) or you have graduated within the past 3 years
Fluent in Dutch language (C1)
Demonstrating, either as part of your degree at university, through work experience or your own personal study, a strong interest in the following areas:
o Energy Transition
o Configuration, concept and feasibility studies
o Energy conversion and optimization calculations
o CO2 Capture, Hydrogen production, fuel cells, thermodynamics
