Graduate Piping Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing piping designs, layouts, and specifications for projects across oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors.

Support preparation of piping material specifications, stress analysis, and piping isometric drawings under supervision.

Collaborate with the 3D modeling team (using SP3D, E3D, or PDMS) to review piping layouts and ensure model integrity.

Conduct basic calculations for pipe sizing, wall thickness, pressure drop, and support span, in accordance with ASME, API, and client standards.

Participate in design review meetings, model reviews, and coordination meetings with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, process, etc.).

Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and corporate standards.

Maintain proper records, reports, and documentation in line with project and company quality assurance procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from a recognized university.

Strong understanding of basic mechanical/piping principles and design fundamentals.

Familiarity with key piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, B31.4, API standards).

Knowledge of engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Caesar II (preferred but not mandatory).

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
