Graduate Nuclear Engineer

We have opportunities for Graduate Nuclear Engineers to join us in our Bulgaria Team. We are currently recruiting for the following location: Sofia office.

The Graduate Nuclear Engineer will work as part of multidiscipline team on a project, contributing to ensuring the quality and timely delivery of deliverables.

As a graduate under the supervision and mentorship within our team, you will assist in the delivery of engineering services to Worley and our customers. You will perform a variety of assignments through the application of basic engineering theories, techniques, and practices. In development mode being trained in the utilization of relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices for the control, development, and application of deliverables while gaining exposure to procedures and processes.

 

As a Graduate Nuclear Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, where you will:

 

  • Perform Nuclear engineering services such as contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions; assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.

  • Participate in the delivery of Nuclear engineering services that meet Worley, its customers’, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.

  • Improving the knowledge of the fundamental requirements of nuclear engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.

  • Some knowledge of technical and practical Nuclear engineering skills.

  • Developing skills in Nuclear engineering specific software.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (could be ongoing) in related field or applicable discipline, typically an engineering degree. Basic knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted office procedures, 0-2 years of experience in field.

  • Ability to work and interact with multidiscipline teams.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.

  • Accuracy/precision of work product/attention to detail.

  • Some skills in the use of relevant software such as AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
