GIS Specialist – Onshore Pipelines
· A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in GIS or related discipline.
· 1-3+ years of experience in the GIS industry. Recent graduates with some applicable work experience will be considered
· Proven ability and experience in the use of geospatial techniques in relation to the extraction, analysis, interpretation and presentation of geospatial data utilising ESRI software (preferred).
· Good level of understanding and experience with geospatial issues and geospatial techniques to acquire and manage data.
· Proven experience with ArcGIS software, preferably ArcSDE, SQL querying and handling of CAD data.
· Proven ability to analyse, interpret and present geospatial data to meet client requirements.
· Proven ability in providing high quality, comprehensive client service and establishing effective working relationships to communicate, consult and negotiate with project teams through sound communication, teamwork and liaison skills.
· Proven ability to competently perform a broad range of operational tasks associated with geospatial and administrative duties.
· Knowledge of spatial and web development technologies highly regarded.
· Demonstrated experience working either on engineering or similar projects.
