What you will bring
🔍 Requirements:
Job Specific Knowledge:
· Deep knowledge of software licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe, SaaS, Concurrent, Token Based).
· Proficiency with SAM tools and platforms (e.g., Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow SAM Pro).
· Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
· Familiarity with ITIL, ISO/IEC 19770, and software compliance frameworks.
· Experience with software metering and usage analytics tools.
· Hands-on experience with managing software from vendors such as Autodesk, Bentley, AVEVA, Intergraph/Hexagon, Microsoft, and Adobe.
Industry Specific Experience:
· 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
· 8+ years of experience in IT Asset Management with a strong focus on Software Asset Management including purchasing, leasing, licensing, lifecycle management, cost control and reporting
· 7+ years’ experience with the execution of asset management projects, and 5 years’ experience in managing relevant projects
· Participation in / exposure to tenders for IT Hardware and Software products and services, and experience with performance management of suppliers of software services and agreements
· Broad exposure to software contract documents
· An understanding of use cases for the use of Generative AI and Automation specifically related to the Software Asset management space Preferred
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
· Tertiary qualification in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or industry equivalent experience.
· Familiarity with ITIL, ISO/IEC 19770, and software compliance frameworks.
· Certifications such as CSAM, CHAMP, CITAM, or ITIL are highly desirable.
· Advanced analytical skills in various tools - Excel, PowerBI, SAM Inventory systems
