As a Senior Offshore Structural Engineer, you will be responsible to support the development of structural engineering deliverables for offshore facilities within a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) scope for an offshore gas project. The role involves assisting in the design and analysis of subsea foundations, structures, and piping modules, ensuring alignment with project specifications, codes, and client requirements. The engineer will work under the guidance of the Lead Subsea Structural Engineer and collaborate closely with multidiscipline teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
To succeed in this role, you should have 10 years industry experience, with 5 years Offshore Structural Engineer with Jacket Design experience.

What you’ll do
We are looking for Senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join our project team for a FEED Offshore Engineering project, in our office Jakarta, Indonesia.
The role responsibilities include:
- Support the structural engineering and design of offshore structures, including and not limited to subsea structure.
- Assist in the development and verification of design concepts, design criteria, and technical specifications in compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and client SoW and BoD.
- Perform and document engineering analyses.
- Conduct detailed calculations to validate design integrity, structural capacity, and compliance with industry codes and standards (e.g., API, ISO, DNV).
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, datasheets, and reports for structural and foundation systems.
- Participate in technical reviews, design audits, and ensure consistency with FEED-level quality and deliverables.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., subsea systems, piping, geotechnical) to ensure design integration and alignment with project requirements.
- Support the Lead Subsea Structural Engineer in responding to client comments, updating documents, and incorporating feedback into the design package.
- Assist in ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule, within scope, and to the required technical standard.
What you’ll have
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Ocean Engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least ten (10) year experience in oil & gas industry, at least five (5) year experience in jacket structure design and at least five (5) year experience in senior structural engineer positions.
- FEED experience as structural engineer for subsea engineering or equivalent project.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SACS, STAAD.Pro, or similar tools.
- Understanding of deepwater subsea structure design, particularly manifolds, riser bases, and piping modules is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with subsea foundation design, soil-structure interaction, and deepwater installation considerations.
- Having experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), jacket on-bottom stability, and fatigue analysis is considered an advantage
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary FEED team in a consultant engineering environment.
