As a Project Engineer, you will be assigned to our Project Management Consultancy for our Power Grid implementation project in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in providing engineering consultancy and project management services for 400kV and 230kV Cable Implementation project. 
• Participate in engineering activities across the project; by managing the disciplines for the achievement of budget, schedule, quality and safety goals
• Review, comment and approve drawings and documents for engineering, manufacturing, site installation and testing/commissioning 
• Identifying and following up key issues all engineering, and construction works that requires action/response
• To support and direct all team members during the technical execution of the work scope
• Liaison with client to ensure compliance with scope requirements
• Ensuring quality of delivery through engineering and Project Management teams
• Review and verify all payment claims submitted by Contractors
• Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the company, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures
• Review Contractors' work procedures, site test procedures, QA/QC system, HSE system to ensure highest level of safety and work quality is achieved and maintained
• Check on Contractors' work and review Contractors' QA/QC and HSE system/record on site work to verify that Contract's requirements are met
• Review Contractors' submission of proposed cable routes, trial hole/trench locations, existing services drawings to achieve optimal shortest routing
• Follow-up and secure wayleave approval for the proposed cable routes from authorities, landowners, asset owners, service providers and any affected parties
• Obtain final authorities' approval for route proving and cabling work to allow work commencement on site and road opening works
• Communicate and liaise with affected parties and/or public for matters pertaining to the project
