The Role
As an Expeditor with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc….
- Sound knowledge of common material and Packages for Hydrocarbon / Chemical & Polymers / Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology / Energy / Mining & Minerals Projects.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing sequence at milestone level and critical items / activities involved.
- Knowledge of lead times for above items.
- Understanding and interpretation of Order Execution Schedule provided by Supplier.
- Facing Internal / External ISO / Client Audits
- Effective and very good written / Verbal Communication Skill
- Good Presentation Skills - To Internal Customers and Client
- Overall understanding of the business
- Effective reporting and personal relations with Clint & Internal Customers
- Ability to communicate effectively with middle management of Client and Supplier for getting things moving.
- Building relationship with Client and Project Team
- Collaborative in Project Team and with Supplier
- Good learning skills with respect to systems and customized software.
- Good skill for using Excel and Power point Presentation
- Responsible for quality / quantity of work and billability
- Post order monitoring of Purchase Orders / Contracts for Projects executed by Company / POs placed by LSTK for critical items (In PMC role)
- Request for field expediting visits for optimum utilization of resources
- Adherence to Department / Discipline work instructions and QMS manual
- Monitor work hour consumption and work progress
- Working within company budgets
- Prepare and issue Material Status Reports (MSR) & Expediting Reports within reasonable time
- Anticipate and highlight potential delays by Supplier to Project Manager & Client (as required) on timely manner
- Committed for following Quality Policy & Core Values of Company.
- Improve productivity by reduction of rework and errors
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Chemical Engineering (Preferably Degree)
- Minimum 10 year experience in Large / Medium scale manufacturing set up or PMC / EPC consultancy out of which 5 years in expediting (Post-order management) serving to industry sectors like Oil & Gas / Refining / Chemical & Polymers / Energy / Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology / Mining & Minerals etc.
- PGDM / MMS in Materials Management will be an additional qualification
