As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for our Singapore PowerGrid's 230kV and 400kV cable implementation project in Singapore.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Director in providing engineering consultancy and project management services for 400kV and 230kV cable implementation project.
- Responsible for reviewing, coordinating and supervising the performance and completion of all services pertaining to: Authority submissions and obtain necessary approvals, civil & structural (C&S) design review, contract administration and project management and site supervision.
- Participate in engineering activities across the project; by managing the project team for the achievement of budget, schedule, quality and safety goals.
- Identifying and following up key issues all engineering, and construction works that requires action/response.
- Support and direct all team members during the technical execution of the work scope
- Liaison with client to ensure compliance with scope requirements
- Ensuring quality of delivery through engineering and Project Management teams
- Ensure all payment claims submitted by Contractors are verified
- Responsible for personal safety working practices for the company, etc. understand and follow OH&S procedures
- Ensure Contractors' work procedures, site test procedures, QA/QC system, HSE system to meet highest level of safety and work quality is achieved and maintained
- Ensure Contractor's QA/QC and HSE system/record on site work to meet Contract's requirements
- Ensure Contractor's submission of proposed cable routes, trial hole/trench locations, existing services drawings to achieve optimal shortest routing routing
- Ensure wayleave approval for the proposed date routes from authorities, landowners, asset owners, service providers and any affected parties
- Ensure final authorities' approval is obtained for route proving and cabling work to allow work commencement on site and road opening works.
- Communicate and liaise with affected parties and/or public for matters pertaining to the project.
What you’ll have
- Competent Professional possesses Electrical Degree or Civil and Structural Degree and recognized by Professional Engineer Board of Singapore
- Minimum job experience as project manager in successfully completed 2 transmissions cable or infrastructure projects of similar contract value within 8 years.
- Certified by Project Management Institute as Project Management Professional
- Completed Ministry of Manpower Singapore Construction Safety Course for Project Managers (CSCPM)
- Familiar with statutory regulations and requirements pertaining to transmission cable projects
- Familiar with work scope, work sequence, method statement of transmission cable works
- Competent in project scheduling down to level 1 and critical path planning using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Competent in conducting risk assessment to Company's requirements
- Resume with track records be submitted and subject to acceptance by Company
- Lead a multi discipline team of cross function engineering teams to deliver project on time and to budget
- May be expected to travel overseas within Southeast Asia for meetings and coordination with importers as part of the project implementation
- Preferably successfully completed two 400kV or 230kV transmission cable project in Singapore
