Environmental Technician Trainee
Qualifications
· Comfortable working in remote wilderness settings and monitoring for bear activity
· Ability to walk long distances in uneven terrain and adverse weather conditions
· Familiarity with bird identification or wildlife surveys
· Class 5 driver’s licence
· Familiarity with Argo operation would be an asset
· Strong interpersonal, management and leadership skills
· Strong technical writing skills
· Self-starter and flexible team player
· Ability to work within a team environment
· Excellent computer skills
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution for biology, environmental science, or related field is an asset but not required
