Required experience, knowledge, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology, Marine Science, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
- Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in marine/ coastal related projects
- Experience in ecological field sampling methods, scientific and technical writing, and statistical analysis of data
- Strong background and good understanding of tropical coastal and marine ecosystems, biodiversity, conservation, and management issues, with strong emphasis on Singapore
- Attention to detail with good verbal, planning, analytical and writing skills, presentation and communication competencies are preferred
- Advance knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical programs/tools
- Significant field and management experience
- Well develop communication skill
- Ability to work flexibly in response to project needs
- At least 100 scientific logged dives with proven skills and experience in conducting underwater marine habitat survey.
- Experience in terrestrial ecosystem survey, water quality, and oceanographic instrumentations are an advantage
