Environmental Consultant
What you’ll have
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Engineering, or related fields of study, expertise in botany, vegetation and flora, or heritage, would be an advantage.
Extensive experience as a practicing environmental professional.
Demonstrated experience coordinating or delivering WA State and Commonwealth environmental approvals (i.e. EP Act Part IV impact assessments, Part V works approvals and licensing, EPBC Act referrals and Environmental Management Plans) in the resources and energy sector or similar industry.
Experience interacting with regulatory authorities such as the EPA, DWER, LGIRS and DCCEEW.
Excellent communication and technical writing skills and the ability to engage effectively and build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Desire to build networks and contribute to business development.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups, and make presentations when required.
A flexible, adaptable and problem-solving mindset that can deal with evolving Project scopes, priorities and schedules.
Able to work on multiple projects of various size and complexity.
