Building on our past. Ready for the future

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Play an integral role in delivering high-quality electrical projects across the industrial sector in the U.S. Gulf Coast as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor. At Worley, your field expertise and analytical precision ensure electrical installations are accurately measured, reported, and aligned with project goals.

Purpose of the Role
You will be responsible for validating installed electrical quantities—including cabling, conduits, raceways, switchgear, transformers, panels, and industrial equipment—while supporting project controls, progress reporting, and billing. Your work guarantees that reported progress reflects actual installations, maintaining project integrity and client trust.

Core Responsibilities
•    Validate electrical quantities against progress claims on industrial projects.
•    Maintain accurate logs of installations for reporting, billing, and earned value tracking.
•    Identify and resolve variances between reported and installed quantities.
•    Collaborate with field supervision and project controls to ensure accurate weekly reporting.
•    Enforce safe electrical field practices in line with company and site standards.
•    Guide colleagues on field systems, processes, and tools, providing coaching and troubleshooting.
•    Communicate clearly with stakeholders through reports, presentations, and recommendations.

What You’ll Bring to the Role
•    Degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or equivalent practical experience.
•    7+ years of hands-on experience in electrical construction, field supervision, or project controls for industrial projects.
•    Strong knowledge of installed electrical systems, including cabling, raceways, panels, switchgear, transformers, and industrial equipment.
•    Proven ability to combine field work with analytical reporting.
•    Experience leading or supervising within the electrical discipline is preferred.
•    Excellent communication skills to inform, influence, and collaborate across teams.
•    Practical knowledge of field systems, processes, and tools, with the ability to coach and troubleshoot.

Feel the energy at Worley with access to paid time off, holiday pay (usually eight per year in the U.S.), and eligibility for medical, life, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as our 401(k) plan.

Apply today and help deliver industrial electrical projects in the Gulf Coast that set the standard for precision, quality, and excellence.
