EDS Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with EDS Manager for system improvements and modifications
- Implementation and setup of SP3D projects in NOC DESC office to corporate/project standards
- Regular contact with project SP3D/ E3D Project Specialist to ensure corporate and project procedures and workflows are being adhered to
- Coordination with project Lead Discipline Engineers (LDE), as required
- Input into development, and implementation, of new procedures, guidelines and workflows, as required
- Management of NOC DESC project specific SP3D/ E3D Guidelines and general input to changes to company procedures that impact SP3D/ E3D
- Review and approval of project Job Notes prior to issue for use as fit for purpose.
- Experience in Intergraph SP3D/ AVEVA E3D use at an admin level
- Experience in EPC engineering/design
- Minimum Diploma holder; Engineering background is preferred
Required skills:
- Ability to install SP3D/ E3D software and configure for project use, including but not limited to
- Project creation and archiving, backups, and restoration
- Project configuration; Permission groups, project hierarchy, WBS Setup
- Knowledge of E3D Global Workshare setup, configuration and management
- Catalog and Symbol Development
- Drawing and Report Configuration
- General drafting abilities, all aspects
- Drawing and report creation and extraction
- Knowledge of SmartSketch
- Familiarity with Laser Scan Models
- SQL Server and Oracle database familiarity
- Ability to provide training and instruction on SP3D/ E3D
