Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the project Quality Management System (QMS) for all E&I works on site.

  • Review and verify E&I construction activities, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and applicable codes (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE).

  • Conduct and document inspections for electrical and instrumentation installations (e.g., cable routing, terminations, grounding, instrumentation calibration, panel installation).

  • Review method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), work procedures, and material submittals related to E&I scope.

  • Monitor construction activities to ensure proper execution of quality control processes.

  • Coordinate and witness field testing such as insulation resistance tests, continuity checks, loop checks, and functional tests.

  • Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.

  • Participate in audits, quality meetings, and readiness reviews for system completions and handovers.

  • Assist in the compilation and verification of E&I documentation for turnover packages.

  • Support the resolution of technical and quality issues in coordination with Engineering, Construction, and QA/QC teams.

  • Ensure proper traceability and documentation of all E&I materials, equipment, and activities.

  • Promote a strong quality culture and support HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) initiatives on site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering (or equivalent discipline).

  • Experience in a similar E&I quality role on large-scale construction and/or mining projects.

  • Strong knowledge of applicable electrical and instrumentation standards and codes.

  • Experience with QA/QC procedures, audits, inspections, and document control related to E&I works.

     

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting E&I drawings and schematics.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001:2015, IRCA, API, or equivalent) are a plus.

  • Ability to work in remote site conditions and adhere to site rosters.
