What you’ll do

We are looking for a Director, Business Development to join our Perth team.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Leading and implementing customer development strategies across the Conventional Energy, Chemicals and Fuels sector in collaboration with Operational, Functional, Commercial and Sales teams.
  • Responsible for developing, nurturing and maintaining relationships with Customers (especially at executive levels including C-Suite).
  • Develop, maintain, and advance assigned customer relationships through account strategies and customer contacts driving business advocacy and added value.
  • Lead development of win plans, facilitate call planning and issuance of call reports to all stakeholders throughout the Global Sales and Marketing (GSM) process.
  • Work closely with Inside Sales Manager to drive the proposal in end game, ensure key win themes are incorporated and work with legal, assurance and estimating/commercial teams.
  • Leverage Customer Success Platform (CSP) to manage accounts, opportunities and maximize the use of CSP throughout the Global Sales and Marketing (GSM) process. Responsible for data integrity in CSP.
  • Working collaboratively with commercial and legal departments to lead pricing and contractual strategy development, pricing reviews, support bid and proposal estimate development, and customer commercial negotiations.
  • Deliver individual and team sales financial goals / budgets and targets. 

What you’ll have

  • An university degree, or equivalent, in a related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience is fundamental.
  • Relevant years of experience, showcasing a wealth of expertise in business development or in customer facing roles in project delivery. As a director, you are recognized as a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a history of effectively leading projects or initiatives, navigating diverse challenges, and ensuring the successful delivery of outcomes.
  • A strategic mindset, capable of envisioning and executing initiatives that align with Worley's business objectives. Your ability to translate organizational goals into actionable strategies is essential for driving sustained growth and contributing to Worley's commitment to delivering sustainable change.
