As an UX Designer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
Are you an experienced UX Designer passionate about creating user-centric digital experiences? Worley is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Digital Solutions team in this role. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive interfaces, enhance user experiences, and translate complex data into actionable insights. - User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and goals. Develop user personas, user journey maps, and other UX deliverables to inform the design process.
- Design Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders, including product owners, business analysts, and developers, to define and prioritize user requirements.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions. Utilize tools such as Figma.
- Usability Testing and Feedback: Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve designs. Analyze test results and make informed design decisions to enhance the user experience.
- UI Consistency and Implementation: Collaborate with business analysts to ensure consistent and visually appealing user interfaces. Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs. Create and maintain design systems and style guides.
- Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design. Apply the latest techniques and methodologies to improve design processes and outcomes.
- Documentation and Communication: Clearly document and communicate design decisions and changes to relevant stakeholders. Provide detailed specifications and guidelines to ensure a shared understanding among the project team.
- Agile Methodology and Project Involvement: Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and retrospectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver iterative and incremental improvements.
- Problem-Solving and Innovation: Apply creative problem-solving skills to address complex design challenges. Innovate and explore new ideas to create unique and effective user experiences.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- Proven experience of 6+ years as a UX Designer.
- Certification in UX Designing will be preferred.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, or similar.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on UX design.
- Solid understanding of design principles, information hierarchy, and accessibility standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
