Department Manager Electrical and Instruments  – WORLEY SWEDEN

The future for Worley Sweden is exciting, we are growing, and new sustainability projects will start. We do real engineering, from early pre-studies and you will follow projects from early stages until installation and commissioning. 

We have an opening for a business minded, development focused and experienced Manager for our Electrical & Instruments function for our Sweden office.

The      Role Context:

You will take care of a large team of 20 engineering professionals focusing on electrical and instruments. Your team sits in both our offices - Kungälv and Stenungsund.
You will be part of the extended management team in Sweden and report to the Manager of Engineering for Sweden. In addition, you will also be part of the global project engineering community within Worley.

You'll:

Leadership

  • Be inclusive and inspire people and teams to develop.
  • Build confidence and capacity to deliver what matters.
  • Maintain and increase the trusted space to challenge and learn
  • Build a vision for the future together with the team and ensure the way to reach it

Business Operations

  • Secure staffing of projects, both short- and long term
  • Review and support your team to develop engineering documents, drawings specifications and cost estimates
  • Develop training and development plans for your team
  • Drive the digitalization roadmap for your discipline
  • Collaboration and networking within global Worley engineering community

Business Development

  • Build relationships with customers and future employees
  • Support in creating customer proposals
  • Secure discipline capability addressing our customers future requirements

You'll have:

  • Technical background and experience from Electrical or Instrument engineering
  • Have worked in a multi discipline engineering organization
  • Project execution experience within EPCm/EPC project environment
  • Leadership experience
  • Engineering Degree from University
  • English (Fluent) – merit to also speak Swedish
