Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering *(see specialties at the bottom of this section), management, or similar College degree, or equivalent in related field combined with Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, sound knowledge of construction, excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills. Those with trade qualifications will typically have 7+ years relevant experience.

- Urban or land studies
Additionally:
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
- A valid driver's license.
Key skills:
- Numeracy
- A good working knowledge of MS Excel and the ability to learn how to use specialist software
