- Planning and Program Execution: Produce and manage site logistics schedules (24 hours, 1 week, and 1-month outlooks) based on real-time data, coordinating closely with the SLM and Construction Director for authorization.
- Incident Management Support: Assist Site Senior Leadership with incident response, ensuring that clear and precise information is available to support effective incident management.
- Conflict Resolution: Identify and resolve conflicts in priority or activity, consulting with the Site Construction Director and SLM to ensure project continuity.
- Daily Briefing Leadership: Conduct daily briefings on site logistics activities, providing updates on CCR operations and interfacing with all construction-directed activity desks, including heavy haul, lifting, material coordination, and third-party contractors.
- Staff Oversight: Supervise and manage the CCR logistics staff, ensuring they are effectively integrated within site operations and adhering to Worley’s standards of excellence in project management.
Qualifications / Skill Set:
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of logistics management, control room operations, and information flow within large-scale construction or project environments. Experience with site logistics or similar centralized control room functions is essential.
- Leadership and Coordination: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, with the ability to lead teams, coordinate with multiple departments, and act as Deputy SLM when needed.
- Communication and Conflict Resolution: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage information flow, mediate priority conflicts, and ensure a cohesive and well-informed team environment.
- Process Development and SOP Management: Experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, and process documentation, along with the ability to set up and maintain structured reporting regimes.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to respond to dynamic project needs, adapt to evolving challenges, and collaborate with senior leadership to drive solutions and maintain a high-functioning CCR environment.
- Safety and Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of site safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards, with a focus on promoting a safe and sustainable work environment.
