Construction Coordinator
Experience:
- Ability to recognize risks and opportunities to a project and analyze them, determine associated costs, impact to schedules and creating mitigation plans
- Experience working within the industrial construction industry
- Ability to establish a good working relationship with many different people, including owners, other managers, designers and supervisors.
- The ability to succeed under strict timelines
- The ability to work in a busy team environment
- Great attention to detail and the ability creatively solve problems
- Experience working in both the subcontractor and general contractor side of a project, focusing on project controls and general coordination
- Ability to plan and organize construction activities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Construction and Oil and Gas is required
- Certificate/diploma in a construction related field an asset
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Field Project Coordinator experience with Construction Contracting company in Oil and Gas project is considered an asset
- Computer literate in all Microsoft Office products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure on complex issues across multiple projects
- Must have a reliable means of transportation.
