Communications Lead Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Engineering: Review and finalize system designs, prepare schematics, bills of materials, cables/diagrams, and functional specifications.
Site Supervision: Oversee on‑site implementation, coordinate subcontractors, inspect quality, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure necessary approvals.
Testing & Commissioning: Manage factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT/ISAT), create and execute test protocols, complete punch lists, and hand over systems.
Project Coordination: Support submittals and change orders, track progress, and participate in coordination, safety, and stakeholder meetings.
Quality & Safety: Enforce quality control procedures and safety protocols, ensuring full compliance with project specifications and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Communications, Telecommunications, or related engineering field.
Experienced in communications engineering in on‑site construction roles.
Practical experience with structured cabling, fiber optics, CCTV, IP networking, telecommunications, access control, and AV systems.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and local regulations.
Strong skills in technical reporting, coordination, and stakeholder communication.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Leadership experience in supervising technical teams and subcontractors.
Proficiency with CAD, network-design software, and Microsoft Project/Office.
Attention to detail, proactive mindset, adaptability, and flexibility—willing to work extended hours or travel as required.
