Role Context:

As a Commissioning Specialist, you will manage the Completions Database and oversee documentation throughout the handover and turnover processes. Your role focuses on setting up and customizing the Completions Management Tool (CMT), managing data input, generating certificates, and ensuring efficient reporting and documentation flow during the project’s completion phases. By working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll help ensure that the project progresses smoothly and remains on schedule.

You’ll be:

  • Developing and implementing system completions criteria, including the setup of the Completions Management Tool (CMT), managing staged turnover, and preparing acceptance certificates.
  • Handling punch lists, deficiency tracking, test reports, and turnover package documentation to ensure accuracy in data flow and reporting.
  • Tailoring the completions system to meet the specific requirements of each project.
  • Coordinating efforts with Engineering and Construction teams to structure systems using tag items and check sheets.
  • Monitoring punch list completion and verifying that all necessary documentation is correctly recorded and stored.
  • Ensuring contractors supply the required data and records for seamless integration into the completions system.
  • Providing CMT training and support to clients and contractors, ensuring effective use of the tool.

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong expertise in the Petrochemical or Oil & Gas sectors.
  • Extensive experience with Completions Management Systems (CMT databases) and related procedures.
  • Proven leadership in managing and training a team of CMT administrators and users.
  • Deep knowledge of Commissioning, Turnover, and Completions, with a solid understanding of CMT systems and best practices.
