Chief Piping Engineer

What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience:

• Minimum of 20 Years of relevant industry experience in the same or similar industry.
• Sound technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver high quality, accurate, and timely work to Worley and its customers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large projects or a portfolio of small projects.
• Possess a working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of piping engineering and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
• Possess a working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specification
  • ABSA requirements for design and registration of piping systems
  • Knowledge of ASME / ASTM codes and standard related to piping engineering
  • Knowledge of CSA pipeline requirements is an asset
• Competent use of piping engineering specific software and relevant software such as the MS Office Suite of tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  EPC experience is an asset.
  Stress analysis experience is an asset. 

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

• A recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) status in Alberta with APEGA.
• Canadian Citizenship or Canadian Permanent Resident Status.
