Training and Experience:

  • MBA, MLS, BBA, BA or BS, or equal, preferred 
  • Concentration in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Law
  • Accountable to the Project Procurement Manager, Project Management, the project Buyer or other designated Supply Management project lead
  • Timeliness, accuracy and adequacy of procurement responsibilities
  • Effectiveness of relationships with suppliers, management

Other Essential Function:

  • Keen safety awareness
  • Excellent communicator
  • Operates well in multi-company team environment
  • Effectively execute company policies and procedures relating to procurement (including but not limited to, safety and ethics)
  • Timeliness, accuracy and adequacy of problem identification, status reporting and corrective action
  • Uses entry knowledge of general application of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards to perform Technician work of moderate scope and complexity referring to ethics and discipline policies for guidance 
  • Career Path Development will require experience in Expediting, Logistics, and Material Control.

Technical/ Professional Competences:

  • Works with the project Buyer or other designated Supply Management project lead regarding implementation and support of Supply Management programs and procedures
  • Works with project personnel to plan and support Supply Management execution for the project
  • Coordinates with Project Management, Construction Management, Business Development, Legal, Finance and Insurance during project execution
  • Assures compliance with Supply Management policies and procedures and brings any non-compliance issues to the attention of management
