What you'll do:
- Work as part of a cohesive team to successfully deliver various engineering services to a wide range of clients, including the government and private sectors.
- Manage the successful delivery of various marine engineering design projects / work packages in accordance with Worley Consulting HSE and QA policies and procedures either individually, as part of a project delivery team, or by leading a project delivery team.
- Be experienced in the whole project life cycle from investigative studies, conceptual design development, detailed design to construction phase services and asset condition inspections.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals, fee estimates and schedules.
- Be responsible for training, mentoring and career development of less experienced personnel within the M&CF Service line.
- Participate in marketing and business development activities within the M&CF Service line to seek new clients and work. Actively seek to develop new client relationships, identify and pursue new opportunities.
What you'll have:
- A relevant Engineering degree (Structural or Civil).
- Chartered Professional Engineer Australia.
- Registered Australian National Engineer.
- Registered Professional Engineer, Queensland
- Extensive experience in a structural engineering role working, ideally within the marine specialist field.
- Demonstrable commitment to HSE leadership in the workplace.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Design Standards and Codes. Knowledge of other standards such as British Standards/ Euro Codes.
