Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily construction activities in the assigned project area (PAP).

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

  • Coordinate with engineers, planners, safety teams, and subcontractors to maintain workflow and resolve field issues.

  • Enforce health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards and company policies on site.

  • Track progress and maintain daily logs and reporting.

  • Participate in schedule reviews and ensure alignment of construction tasks with overall project timelines.

  • Review and validate work plans, risk assessments, and permits to work (PTWs).

  • Supervise and mentor field personnel, ensuring workforce productivity and competency.

  • Liaise with procurement and logistics teams for timely material and equipment delivery.

  • Identify and escalate construction issues or delays promptly to senior management.

  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site audits as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in a supervisory role on large-scale construction or mining projects.

  • Trade qualification or degree/diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Proven ability to lead teams in a high-pressure site environment.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and industry standards.

  • Solid understanding of HSE regulations and best practices in remote or industrial sites.

  • Proficiency in construction documentation and reporting systems.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Experience in managing multiple subcontractors and interfaces concurrently.
