Senior Accountant

What you’ll have

• A qualified Finance/Business/Legal with a proven track record of success with more than 10 years of significant general accountant experience from MNC environment.
• Good understanding of relevant legislation and internal and external compliance requirements.
• Ability to think outside the box and identify issues and solutions to those issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individual and groups, with the ability to gain the confidence of senior management.
• A high degree of organisation skills.
• Excellent management skills including the ability to plan, set goals; and manage time, priorities, accountabilities, schedules and cost. 
• Negotiates successful outcomes that achieve the required objectives and have the support and acceptance of all parties.
• Pro-active, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail.
• Effectively manages change of work tasks and the work environment, and assists others with adapting to change.
• A person on integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments.
• Able to identify issues, problems and opportunities; make timely decisions; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask for assistance if required.
• Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance.
• Experience with a large ERP
• Exposure to a contracting/engineering/construction or multi disciplinary service environment well regarded
• Experience working in multiple jurisdictions cross Asia
• A recognised Bachelor Degree (or Master Degree) or equivalent qualifications with an emphasis in quantitative discipline such as finance, business and legal
• Postgraduate qualifications in the relevant discipline such as CA or CPA; management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent 
• This will be a 12-months contract role with a possibility for renewal or converted to permanent.
