Job Purpose:
This position performs quality control functions to assure compliance with project and Owner requirements under general supervision. Receives instruction on specific assignment objectives and work is reviewed by general supervision.
Essential Job Functions:
- Will perform field and/or Fab Shop inspections.
- Maintain compliance with established project, Corporate and customer quality assurance and control requirements.
- Review engineering drawings and track quality progress based on scope of work document.
- Updates Quality Control files.
- Will perform field and/or Fab Shop inspections.
- Assist in the processing of installation procedures.
- Notifies supervisors of any discrepancies found between work completed and material installed and Owner quality requirements.
- Performing special process and field installation inspections and surveillance of equipment and materials.
- Attend training sessions, seminars, and appropriate educational classes as required by department.
- Possess current knowledge of Engineering, Business Administration, quality control and organizational practices.

- Have excellent written and oral communications applicable to standards set by organization.
- Computer skills commensurate with program and job applications.

Employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places, extreme cold or heat and high noise levels. Employee will work in an environment where there is risk that they will be exposed to toxic, caustic and/or hazardous chemicals, fumes or airborne particles. Workers are required to wear personal protective equipment while on the job. The work generally requires routine walking, sitting, standing, squatting, climbing, stooping, bending, twisting, reaching and carrying items. An individual will be required to work the majority of hours in an industrial environment and will need to be able to quickly respond to a change in work demands.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certificate per AWS QC1.
- Minimum of four (4) years of related mechanical field experience.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to be covered by Worley’s auto insurer.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Must be a current NACE/AMPP level 2 coating inspector
