Senior Consultant

Role Context:

We’re looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Renewable Energy team in The Hague or London. We will consider applications from The Netherlands or UK for hybrid/remote working.

You'll be:

As a Senior Consultant specialising in Onshore Wind, you will be involved in the execution of several of the following technical activities aligned to your track record and skills:

  • Delivery of advisory, consultancy and early development services, including feasibility and conceptual studies
  • Taking a key role in delivering Technical Due Diligence and Lender’s Technical Advisor scopes
    Developing and optimising the layout development for onshore wind farms using industry and in-house software and digital tools
  • Yield Assessments and design optimisation of onshore wind farms
    Supporting our clients in the early stages of project development; developing robust business cases for projects, supporting applications for licenses, evaluating technologies
  • Design review and assessment of onshore wind farms to ensure that the engineering developed by the supply chain meets the project requirements

You'll have:

Essential:

  • Experience in planning / delivering onshore wind energy projects
  • Experience in project management and leading a team to execute projects
  • Understanding of global wind energy market trends, advancements in technologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Must be familiar with the industry standards of IEC, DNV and guidelines such as Measnet
  • Experience in delivering study work and contributing to high quality proposals
  • Have site experience during construction and/or commissioning of wind farms
  • Experience in operation and maintenance of wind farms
  • Excellent communication skills including ability to produce concise reports and presentations appropriate for sharing with all levels
  • Confidence to work at all levels of a client organization
  • The desire to play a key role in a growing business
  • A relevant degree or post-graduate qualification in a suitably applicable field (engineering, renewable energy or similar)
  • Technical / hands-on profile with good communication
  • English language is a requirement (written and spoken)

Desirable

  • Experience using industry software e.g. WAsP, WindFarmer, WindPRO
  • Existing industry connections
  • An understanding of the construction and commissioning phase of projects
