As part of the Worley Graduate Community and under supervision and mentorship within the architectural engineering department, you will assist in the delivery of engineering services to Worley' and our customers'.
On your typical work day you will...
- Work within a design team on various projects
- Run design workshops and presentations with the different project stakeholders
- Deliver architectural services that meet Worley', its customers' requirements, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget
- Perform architectural master planning services such as: contributing to appropriate studies, analyses, and recommend actions; and assisting with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports
- Communicate effectively with the master planning team and project stakeholders, including the customer
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance if required
- Visualization support on video and image production tasks
- Work on BIM/Revit models and AutoCAD drawings
Key Responsibilities
- Be based in Spain with the option of hybrid working spending time between office and home
- Be part of the Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics (TIL) business line in the EMEA Region
- Report to the Master Planning Practice Lead for EMEA, based in London, UK
- Collaborate in a global master planning network with the combined goal to support and grow the industrial master planning service offer across all regions
- Apply and develop new design thinking principals to the master planning process to define, assess and develop appropriate solutions that are human-centric and balancing the needs of people and planet
- Apply and integrate new methods of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) into the spatial master planning process, finding innovative solutions to make facilities greener, more user centric and efficient
- Collaborate with other Worley Consulting business lines of TIL, Environment and Water, and Energy, Chemicals and Resources Advisory to cross-sell and enhance the client service offer
- Evaluate new opportunities to integrate AI and generative design capabilities in the master planning process
- Provide opportunities to travel on business and have a desire to experience different cultures and ways of working
- A recognized and relevant Degree in Architecture or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with a specialization in Urban Design or Master Planning
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Previous experience in Master Planning or Urban Design, Building Design, designing in Industrial Environments is recommended
- Technical and practical architectural skills
- Knowledge of the fundamental requirements of master planning
- Developing skills in architectural engineering-specific software
- Quick sketch (handmade and 3d models) skills
- Proficient in Revit, CAD & Photoshop
- Graphic communication skills
- Some skills in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
