As an Environmental Engineer Level II, you will be responsible to provide research and study results related to hydraulic modelling.

What you’ll do
- We are looking for an Environmental Engineer Level II to join our team in Singapore.
- The role responsibilities include:
- Carry out numerical modelling e.g. hydrodynamic, mud transport, water quality, flood modelling for marine-related projects e.g. ports and marine infrastructure
- Maintain and update models.
- Conduct mapping using GIS as necessary.
- Provide technical support for projects, including environmental impact assessments (EIA), environmental management and monitoring plans (EMMP) and/or coastal engineering studies, metocean studies, feasibility studies and climate change impact studies.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver on key responsibilities in assignments under tight deadlines.
- To succeed in the Environmental Engineer role, you will need to have strong knowledge of hydrology, water quality, coastal and metocean processes and have an understanding or experience in hydrodynamic modelling, mud transport modelling, water quality modelling and other modelling techniques using software tools. Understanding or experience in MIKE, Delft or any equivalent modelling tools will be an added advantage.
What you’ll have
- At least a bachelor’s degree in civil / marine/ coastal/ offshore engineering, hydrology/ water resources or related field.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years’ of relevant work experience (candidates with different levels of experience will be considered).
- Candidates with Singapore experience would be favorably considered.
- Strong knowledge of hydrology, water quality, coastal and metocean processes.
- Understanding or experience in hydrodynamic modelling, mud transport modelling, water quality modelling and other modelling techniques using software tool.
- Understanding or experience in MIKE, Delft or any equivalent modelling tools will be an added advantage.
- Understanding or experience in programming and GIS.
- Knowing to code, programming using Matlab or Python
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language.
