As a Consultant or Senior Consultant - Advisory, you will play a critical role in delivering strategic, data-driven, and commercially sound advice to customers across the energy, resources, chemicals, and infrastructure sectors. You will contribute to the development of strategic insights, assist in analytical tasks, help translate complex technical and commercial issues into practical recommendations and apply a blend of problem-solving, and communication skills to guide customers in addressing complex challenges, unlocking value, and making informed investment and business decisions.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant - Advisory to join our APAC team with offices in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
The role responsibilities include:
Perform detailed commercial, technical and strategic analysis with minimal oversight.
Structure and execute problem-solving approaches using structured and analytical techniques.
Support and develop high-quality deliverables including reports, presentations, and briefing packs.
Contribute to problem-solving discussions and help identify key issues.
Lead discrete workstreams and manage associated scope, budget, and timelines.
Support the assignment manager in delivering project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to support project execution.
Facilitate customer engagements and contribute to solution development. Escalate out-of-scope issues and manage stakeholder expectations professionally.
Support the development of proposals, pitches, and customer communications.
Help nurture trusted customer relationships through credible, value-driven engagement.
Contribute to research, capability development, and thought leadership initiatives.
What you’ll have
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, economics, business, finance, or related discipline.
Candidates with dual qualifications (e.g. Engineering + Economics) have an advantage.
Relevant 2+ (Consultants) / 5+ (Senior Consultants) years of experience in consulting, strategy, or within large corporates and asset-intensive industries (e.g. energy, infrastructure, resources), including experience with equivalent advisory environment.
Exposure to energy transition, resources, infrastructure, or ESG highly desirable.
Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Clear communication, both written and verbal, to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in developing compelling visual and written outputs
Strong commercial and strategic acumen to translate data into actionable insights.
Flexible approach and ability to operate in diverse sectors and assignment types.
Ability to operate autonomously and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
Willingness to grow across a range of industries, topics, and geographies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with modelling, data visualisation, or scenario analysis tools is advantageous.
Proficiency with digital tools and technologies, including use of generative AI/LLMs (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot), basic programming or scripting (e.g. Python, VBA), and data handling in platforms such as Power BI is valued and considered a differentiator.
